It's awards season again, and I for one can't get enough of red carpet fashion and acceptance speech blunders. So without further adieu, I present to you, my top five moments of the 2014 Golden Globes.
1. Jacqueline Bisset’s acceptance speech
The night started out with a bang when Jacqueline Bisset won best actress in a supporting role in a series, miniseries or TV movie. If you’re thinking, “Who?” you weren’t the only one.

1. Jacqueline Bisset’s acceptance speech
The night started out with a bang when Jacqueline Bisset won best actress in a supporting role in a series, miniseries or TV movie. If you’re thinking, “Who?” you weren’t the only one.
She won for her performance in a Starz series “Dancing on the Edge.” From the moment they announced she won, it was obvious that she really wasn’t expecting to win. She stumbled around and took almost a full minute to get to the stage, where she delivered a rambling speech that featured some of these gems:
“Scottish background to the front!” (The front of what? The warfront?)
“I’m gonna get this together.” (She didn’t.)
“My mother used to say, ‘Go to hell and don’t come back.’” (If you don’t have something nice to say, maybe you shouldn’t mention your mom in your acceptance speech).
Needless to say, I think everyone watching was squirming in their seats feeling awkward for her by the time the orchestra played her out (on their second attempt).

2. Emma Thompson’s Award Presentation
Not only did Emma Thompson look gorgeous when she came out to present the award for Best Screenplay, but she was also honest and endearing. She came on to stage barefoot, holding her Louboutins in one hand and a martini in the other. If someone else had done this, it could've been trashy, but Emma was simply charming.

3. Seth Meyers Presenting an Award to Andy Samberg
I’m pretty sure nobody was more excited about Andy Samberg’s award for best actor in a comedy than his former SNL buddy Seth Meyers (who had the good fortune of presenting the award).
Also, Andy’s acceptance speech was awesome, though I was a bit miffed that some critics on Twitter didn’t “get it” that he was making fun of how generic acceptance speeches are.
4. Amy Poehler Wins for Best Actress in a Comedy
I would like to thank the Foreign Press! Finally Parks and Rec gets the attention it deserves! And who doesn’t love Amy Poehler?
Interestingly enough, she’s the first Golden Globes host to ever win a Golden Globe award while hosting. Go Amy!

5. Jennifer Lawrence Photobombing Taylor Swift on the Red Carpet
Let's be honest, this is actually my number one. Look at this picture. Enough said. I also loved her acceptance speech, as usual.
