After obsessively tracking news on James Morrison's website and social media accounts last month, I was thrilled to learn his new album would drop Halloween weekend.
My mom came to visit, and being the big James Morrison fans we are, we sat down at my computer on November 1st, credit card in hand, ready to buy this long-awaited musical treat.
To our dismay, the album was not released in the U.S. on October 31st, only in the U.K. and Europe. Grumbling and bummed, we shrugged and decided we'd listen to his old records as we await the U.S. release date.
Fast-forward two weeks and there's still no news on when the album will be released in U.S. stores and iTunes. And it's not for a lack of effort in searching, researching and tweeting his account to find out the new drop date. (He didn't reply, but he did--or his assistants did--favorite my tweet, which made me want to swoon and squeal with excitement like I'd been noticed by the cutest boy in school.)
In a fit of impatience this weekend, I decided to take the plunge, buy the CD from his website and have it shipped to me from England.
Which brings me to this post.
If you are also equally impatient to listen to his new music in your home, in your car, on your iPod, you can--for a low fee of $16 or $20--put that impatience to rest buy purchasing a signed copy of the CD from his website. (If you want the album that includes this summer's big dance hit with iLL BLU, buy the $20 version.) So for only $22.25 + a foreign transaction fee, you can take a step toward listening to his new album on repeat, while crafting a story about him personally signing your album after your eyes lock across a crowded room. Wait, what?

You can also buy the album on Amazon, but I don't believe the copies are signed.
You still can't buy the album on iTunes.
