A few weeks ago, when I said I was behind on most of my TV shows, I meant it. Ridiculously behind, if you will.
I was so behind on Parks and Recreation that I still hadn't even watched the Halloween episode! (Though in my defense, they did put the show on a multiple-week hiatus at that time.)
Once I got started on the episodes I'd missed, I didn't want to stop and felt sad when I realized I was all caught up.
Here are 7 reasons why this is still one of my favorite shows to watch:

Here are 7 reasons why this is still one of my favorite shows to watch:
1. Leslie and Ben are the best couple. Hands down. No argument. On Halloween when they realize they've peaked in their careers, they get drunk and have the brilliant idea to get tattoos. I loved them even more as that scene unfolded.
Weird guy who makes a lot of cameos in the show: "Tattoos? This is a pawn shop... but sure, I can do that."
Also, if there was ever a fictional TV couple to get drunk with, it would be them. They were hilarious!

2. Leslie's filibuster. Though we've been seeing more of Jamm than I care for, their banter and hatred for each other was entertaining. And Leslie proved, once again, that she has an unmatched passion for government and democracy. 3. Ron is still one of the most quotable characters on TV. (For proof, see below image.) | |
4. Donna and Ron bonding. These two usually don't have a lot in common—Donna with her many men and social media obsession, and Ron with his disgruntled (yet awesome) personality—but they've always meshed well. Seeing them spend real time together was a treat. 5. The way Leslie compliments Ann. "Ann, you poetic and noble land mermaid." They just get weirder, and it's fantastic. 6. Andy. Oh, Andy... "Just remember every time you look up at the moon, I too will be looking at a moon. Not the same moon, obviously, that’s impossible." |
7. The 90s costumes. Who wore it best? Ann as Blossom, or Tom as Kriss Kross? I literally can't decide. What have been some of your favorite moments so far this season? Comment below or tweet me @adventuringMISS! |
